New Jacket, New Journey

As I'm shaking off an old ripped jacket and putting on a new one, I've decided to pursue an (almost) life-long dream of becoming a writer. Or an author. Or whichever of these will get me to put words down in my own exploration into myself and discovering more of those real or imagined. 

I am almost done with an online course at Future Learn: Start Writing Fiction. It has not only kick-started the creative juices but has opened a whole new world and skill set I didn't know I had. 

In the words of Joss Whedon:

“I write to give myself strength. I write to be the characters that I am not. I write to explore all the things I'm afraid of. ”

Here I'll post anything from short ideas, wild words and thoughts to eventual short stories. I don't do this for followers or fans, but for myself.
